The FLTC series quick connectors are designed for functional and pressure testing of components including flanges, grooved ends, corrugated tubes, heat-expanded tubes, short ends, and expanded joints. These manually operated connectors are suitable for testing engine fuel lines, oil lines, brake system pipelines, compressor lines, hose terminals, and similar tubular assemblies. Constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, the FLTC series supports working pressures up to 50 bar and is widely used by industrial clients in automotive, hydraulic, and pneumatic component manufacturing where durable, high-pressure sealing is required on irregular tube ends.
All major structural components of the FLTC series are manufactured from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, providing mechanical strength and resistance to industrial test environments. The sealing element is made of nitrile rubber (NBR), and alternative seal materials can be customized to suit specific test media or temperature requirements. For engine fuel line testing applications, the connectors are equipped with built-in check valves that prevent fuel backflow during testing. The manual sleeve-lock design allows operators to connect and disconnect the connector without tools, supporting efficient changeover between test specimens on the production floor.
The FLTC series operates from vacuum to a maximum working pressure of 50 bar. Higher pressure ratings can be provided based on specific application requirements.
The FLTC series is a manually actuated connector. No control air supply is required; the connector is locked by pushing the sleeve forward until it seats against the test piece.
The reference standard leakage rate is 10⁻³ mbar·l/s (equivalent to 10⁻⁴ Pa·m³/s). Lower leakage rates can be provided upon request, depending on the customer's detailed specifications including testing method, temperature, and pressure, as well as the quality of supplied samples regarding seal surface treatment, roughness, and dimensional tolerances.

The FLTC series is primarily used for pressure testing and functional testing of tubular assemblies in automotive and industrial manufacturing. Common applications include engine fuel lines, oil lines, brake system pipelines, compressor lines, and hose terminal connections. The connector's ability to seal flanged, grooved, corrugated, and expanded tube ends makes it suitable for components that do not present a smooth cylindrical sealing surface. The stainless steel construction and 50-bar pressure rating support use in hydraulic testing, pneumatic leak testing, and pressure cycle verification.
Hold the connector sleeve and align it with the test tube opening. Push the fastener housing forward until it cannot be moved further, ensuring the connector is fully seated and locked onto the test piece.
Release the test pressure completely before attempting to disconnect. Once pressure is vented, pull the sleeve back to release the locking mechanism and remove the connector from the test piece. Never attempt to disconnect while the system is under pressure.
The NBR seal can be replaced when wear or compression set is observed. Alternative seal materials are available for compatibility with specific test media. Inspect the seal and stainless steel components periodically for corrosion or damage, particularly after exposure to aggressive test fluids.
When placing an order, please specify the part number, required pressure range, test medium and target leakage rate, operating temperature range, space requirements, and a CAD drawing or sample of the test piece. If a suitable standard model is not found, custom configurations including alternative seal materials and higher pressure ratings can be developed based on application requirements.
The FLTC series is designed for flanges, grooved ends, corrugated tubes, heat-expanded tubes, short ends, and expanded joints. The clamping diameter range for each model is listed in the specification table under dimension A.
No. The FLTC series is manually actuated using the sleeve-lock mechanism. No control air supply is needed, making the connector suitable for field testing and workstations without pneumatic infrastructure.
Yes. For engine fuel line testing applications, the FLTC connectors are equipped with built-in check valves that prevent fuel backflow during the test procedure.
Yes. While the standard seal is nitrile rubber (NBR), alternative materials can be customized to meet specific test media, temperature, or chemical compatibility requirements. Consult the factory with your application details for a seal material recommendation.
