The YUN-FLOWDP1020 is a single-station flow resistance tester designed to measure pressure drop (flow resistance) across liquid cooling components, including liquid-cooled radiators, cold plates, manifolds, and quick connectors (UQD). With one testing channel, it is suited for R&D verification, small-batch sampling inspection, and laboratory environments where precise thermal characterization is required.
Built for enterprise customers in thermal management and electric vehicle cooling systems, the tester integrates a magnetic drive pump, electromagnetic flowmeter, differential pressure transmitter, and constant-temperature chiller in a compact cabinet. The system delivers flow rates from 0.5 to 20 LPM with ±0.1 LPM control accuracy and differential pressure measurement up to 400 kPa at ±0.055% FS. All flow and pressure parameters are set electronically through a 10-inch HMI touch screen, with no manual pressure knob on the unit.
The YUN-FLOWDP1020 uses electronic regulation via PLC-controlled proportional electric control valves with a 4-20 mA signal range. There is no physical pressure knob; all flow rate, inlet pressure, and back pressure parameters are configured through the 10-inch HMI touch screen. The Siemens S7-1200 PLC executes PID flow control through a variable-frequency-driven magnetic pump, ensuring stable and repeatable test conditions across the full 0.5 to 20 LPM range.
A KELLER PD-10L series (or equivalent) differential pressure transmitter provides a 0 to 400 kPa measurement range with ±0.055% FS accuracy. Inlet and outlet pressures are monitored independently by 0 to 600 kPa transmitters with ±0.25% FS accuracy, each equipped with a digital display header for local reading.
The built-in chiller maintains media temperature from 5 to 80°C with ±0.5°C accuracy, ensuring consistent fluid viscosity during extended test sequences. PT100 platinum resistance sensors with ±0.15°C accuracy measure inlet and outlet temperatures independently, and the stainless steel water tank (≥30 L) includes a level gauge and exhaust port.
Ethernet (TCP/IP) communication enables compatibility with MES and SCADA systems, allowing test data to be logged directly into factory quality management systems. The Siemens S7-1200 PLC (or equivalent) provides reliable industrial control with analog input and output modules. The Ethernet port supports data communication only and does not enable external operation of the tester; all control is performed through the onboard HMI touch screen.

The single-workstation unit adopts an integrated cabinet structure. The upper section houses the HMI touch screen control panel and the instrument display area for digital pressure, temperature, and flow readouts. The central area contains the testing station zone, including the test piece mounting surface, quick connector, and transparent protective cover. The lower section integrates the pump, valves, piping, water tank, and chiller. A side-mounted electrical control cabinet contains the PLC, frequency converter, and power module, facilitating maintenance access without disrupting the test area.
This tester serves business buyers in electric vehicle battery cooling system validation, data center liquid cooling component characterization, power electronics thermal management, aerospace cooling system qualification, and consumer electronics heat dissipation research. It supports R&D flow-resistance characterization, incoming quality inspection of cold plates, and production-line verification of liquid cooling components. The single-channel configuration is particularly suited for laboratories and pilot production lines where floor space is limited and test flexibility is prioritized over high throughput.
The YUN-FLOWDP1020 uses electronic regulation. Proportional electric control valves (4-20 mA) are managed by the Siemens PLC, and all flow and pressure parameters are set via the 10-inch HMI touch screen. There is no manual pressure knob on the unit.
The Ethernet (TCP/IP) port enables data communication with MES and SCADA systems for test data logging and integration. It does not support external operation of the tester. All control is performed through the onboard HMI touch screen.
The system supports water, purified water, ethylene glycol aqueous solution, and propylene glycol aqueous solution. Media temperature is controlled between 5 and 80°C with ±0.5°C accuracy.
Compressed air at 0.6 MPa is optional and is used only for pneumatic valve control. The core flow and pressure testing functions operate without compressed air.
The standard configuration requires AC 380V three-phase five-wire power with approximately 8 kW consumption. Power supply configuration can be adapted to regional standards on request. Commercial users should specify their local power standard when placing an order.
